| Daily traded (open-ended) investment funds are traditional capital investments. MPC Capital's investment funds are innovative in that they are based on special concepts. In general, investment funds focus on different types of investments, e.g. equity funds or bond funds. Within these fund categories, funds differ in their investment policy which defines, for example, the region in which they invest. |
Super fundsMPC Capital's super funds are absolute return funds. The investment approach is not based on a benchmark index, as is customary, but rather towards an absolute positive return irrespective of capital market trends. In order to achieve a continuous value increase in all market phases, different investment classes may be flexibly weighted. In contrast to traditional funds, MPC Capital's super funds managed by FERI use the return potential of the worldwide investment universe: equities, bonds, real estate, gold, commodities and hedge funds. This wide spectrum of possibilities is also reflected in the term "super funds".

Equity fundsEquity funds are usually based on a benchmark index. MPC Europa Methodik follows a different investment approach, selecting undervalued European shares of high quality irrespective of the development or weighting of stock exchange indexes and short-term stock market trends. Decisions are made exclusively based on key business figures according to a methodology developed by fund manager Frank Lingohr, who is considered a pioneer of quantitative equity analysis.

Reinvestment programmeInvestors of closed-end funds regularly ask themselves what best to do with the dividends they receive. If they opt for MPC Capital's reinvestment programme, dividends are automatically invested in an investment fund.
The reinvestment of dividends results in a higher value increase of the capital invested compared to the regular withdrawal of proceeds (compound interest effect). The reinvestment programme is available for closed-end funds with euro-denominated dividends initiated by MPC Capital. As long as desired by the investor, any dividends are automatically invested in the selected investment fund in the MPC Capital security deposit account. |
