29 Nov 2017
Hamburg, 29 November 2017 - Peter Ganz, Management Board member with responsibility for the Shipping unit of MPC Capital AG (Deutsche Börse Scale, ISIN DE000A1TNWJ4), will be leaving the company when his contract expires at the end of the year. Constantin Baack will be responsible for the Shipping division.
Over his two years in office, Peter Ganz has provided vital impetus for the expansion of the Shipping area of MPC Capital AG. Peter Ganz will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity after his exit. The Supervisory Board and Management Board of MPC Capital AG would like to thank Mr Ganz for his successful involvement: "Through his expertise and commitment, he has decisively shaped and advanced the positive development of the MPC Capital Group in the Shipping area. We wish him much success in achieving his future goals."
In 2017, MPC Capital's shipping segment has developed very dynamically. For example, MPC Container Ships AS, which was initiated by MPC Capital in the spring of this year, was able to raise around USD 450 million on the capital market within a few months and build up a fleet of over 30 container ships in the feeder segment. A large part of the fleet is managed by MPC Capital.
