MPC Capital strengthens renewable energy infrastructure team

HAMBURG, GERMANY, March 09, 2017 - MPC Capital AG, a global investment manager for real assets, has strengthened its Renewable Energies team with the appointment of David Delaire as Head of Asset Management. 

David will lead MPC Capital's wind and solar projects across emerging markets and advance its renewables platform in the Caribbean. David has over 25 years of experience in energy infrastructure project management and 12 years in renewables and emerging markets. He joins the company from DD Energy Services in Turkey, where he served as Managing Partner since March 2013. Previously, David served as Director of Asset Management at Natural Power, Chief Operating Officer at Greensolver, and Chief Technical Officer at Eolfi.

The Renewable Energies team of MPC Capital structures and develops investment opportunities and acts as asset manager for institutional investors. Recent transactions include the 172 MW windpark project 'Âncora' in Portugal, the 50 MWp PV plant 'Paradise Park' in Jamaica, and the 54 MW onshore windpark 'Sainshand' in Mongolia.
